I love a woman in a suit. Period. Full stop. I also love Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton. Period. Full stop. But after that, things get complicated. You see, both Cate and Tilda have this delicious habit of posing in suits. Lots and lots and lots of suit. And, to be perfectly honest, I can't decide which I prefer more in a suit. They're both Oscar winners. They're both cinematic chameleons. They're both sexy as all get out. Oh, the anguish. But then I decided, why choose? Why put myself through that needless torture when I could just have both, together, all suited up and gender bendy. Double your pleasure, double your fun.
At this point I could easily make some crack about double-breasted suits, but I'm going to go against type and use self restraint. Gosh, I guess wearing a suit really does class up a joint.

My SO thinks Cate Blanchett is the cat's whiskers, while I profess my undying admiration for Tilda... Sigh.
I would volunteer to do the ironing for those ladies, if they wore those suits often!
But I get these two ladies confused from time to time - looking at them side-by-side I'm not sure why.
Still, I did spend most of the first Narnia movie wondering why Ms Cate looked a little different -_-'

Hmm. Nope, can't go with the suit thing, or even a pantsuit. There's femme, and femmer.
Androgyny rocks. So does Tilda (who I have loved intensely since the age of 14) and Cate was the only reason I sat through the latest Indiana Jones flick(I even found myself rooting for her character. Actually, I did the same when Tilda incarnated the White Witch in Narnia.)
To see them in suits = bliss
Btw all gods were traditionally androgynous - that's what made them immortal.

Ahh Tilda. I met her a month ago at her fantabulous Cinema of Dreams -filmfestival. She's such a charming and interesting person!
I spoke to her (and we hugged twice, might I add), she's very well-spoken, sophisticated yet wonderfully shabby in appearence, down-to-earth and physical, you just have to watch her. She told me humorous stories about the Love & Anarchy festival she attended (my hometown is where it is held)and her partner gave me a 'bless you' love candy :D
Mhhmm, I just want to relish the fact that I have had that wonderful suit-wearing oscar-lady's arm around me. That's a keeper.
