I know all the scuttlebutt around last week’s Democratic National Convention were around the barn burner speeches by Kamala and Michelle and Barack and Oprah. So you might have missed Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s short, sweet and extremely sassy speech. So I send you into this weekend with a reminder of what’s at stake in this election. Yes, our democracy is on the line. Our freedoms are on the line. And even as a soon-to-be officially divorced single cat (and dog) lady, I know that our marriages are also on the line. So for all you marrieds (or those who want to get married at some point), let Dana be your rallying cry. They can pry those wedding bands off of our cold, dead, gay hands. Happy weekend, all.
