So remember way back when when I got all excited about the prospect of Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson getting their period piece on to play the Boleyn sisters? Oh, the hotness, right? Well, uh, sort of. I can’t exactly put my finger on it, but the hot is kind of muted in the new trailer for “The Other Boleyn Girl.” They’re both pretty, of course, but in their 16th Century garb they look so very young, almost adolescent. Also those headpieces are pretty much hotness shields. I’m not even sure it’s possible to rock one of those and look sexy. Still, the movie looks promising, even if the ending is a fait accompli. And is that Kristin Scott Thomas I spy as the Boleyn girls’ mother? The imaginary gene pool in that family is, well, wow.

In this case i have to say that Natalie Portman looks insanely hot! ;). The film seems to be promising, only that they've chosen a too cute Henry VIII for the role...when in real life this man was very, very, very, ugly, and fat. But hey, this is hollwood, and we all know that appearances count a lot, unfortunately.
I think it looks awesome!! I can't wait to see it.

Towards the end of his life, yes, but not during the period this film addresses. In his youth he was one of the catches of Europe.
i agree, henry the VIII wasn't considered unattractive as a young man.
i think scarlett is way prettier than natalie but it looks like she wore very little eye makeup in the film, but overall her body and face are hotter. i never liked natalie, overrated, but i think the period films suit her since her body is very boylike/anorexic and period films tend to shield the fact.
Damn, forget Natalie and Scarlett! Kristin Scott Thomas!! *THUD*!!!! (yeah go ahead and shoot me, sue me, whatever... but those two got nothing on KST). And for the record Natalie's the hotter of the two, somehow Scarlett just never did anything for me, I don't get the fascination (but of course I can only speak for me and totally respect everyone else's feelings of her). Scarlett falls into the same bracket as Angelina Jolie does (she too does absolutely nothing for me - I don't find her attractive at all)
