A true crime thriller with Lily Gladstone, Riley Keough and Archie Panjabi? Yeah, I’m gonna be watching that. Based on a real 1997 disappearance and death of a Canadian high school student, the trailer is taut and leans into the “Mean Girls: The Murderers” premise. Reminds me a little of “Thirteen,” but again with more murder.

It’s beyond distasteful to use this case for entertainment. Having lived through this in real time, Reena’s family did not get justice and I can only imagine how painful this is for them. The leader of the swarming got five star ‘jail’ complete with a husband and kid(s) meanwhile we will never know what Reena would have done. Racist execution that disgusts and falls me to this day, won’t be watching and hope they get roasted for profiting off her murder tbh. They should give all the money to the Virks.
