Equality School Musical

What they said, or more accurately, sang. Because, seriously, if we can't laugh at our lack of equal rights, we'd just cry all day long. Also, I think this means that Margaret Cho, Jack Black, Andy Richter, Maya Rudolph, John C. Reilly, Allison Janney, Kathy Najimy, Nicole Parker, Jenifer Lewis, Rashida Jones, Sarah Chalke and – of course – Neil Patrick Harris and Marc Shaiman will get free drinks at any gay bar in America for life. Sure, I wish all this gaytastic goodness came together about six weeks ago. But better late than never, right? And, in case you're looking for ways to show your support and can't hold a tune, why not tie a simple White Knot instead. Hey, does anyone else have a sudden craving for some shrimp cocktail?

[Hat tip for White Knot to Melanie; Hat tipalooza for “Prop 8: The Musical” to Emma, Amelia, Colleen, Julie and Sarah!]

I saw this yesterday and couldn't keep up with all the star sightings! Neil Patrick cracks me up when he goes all musical! Nicole Parker was in this!?! As in Nicole Ari Parker!?! As in "The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love"!?! Cool!

Love it love it love it! Definitely passing this one along. And my partner, who "has no interest in blogs" but forwards all the videos I show her on here, will be sending this out even more.

Oh how you keep us informed Ms. Snarker!

To steal a line from Kent Jones... Jesus is Black.

And, man, I didn't even notice Sarah Chalke the first time I watched. I guess I was just busy staring at Margaret Cho.

This is undoubtedly one of the funniest and most creative things I've ever seen on the internets. Thanks so much for sharing it DS.
