So I’ve had “Murder Show” in my head since last Saturday. One, because it’s damn catchy. And, two, because I too have spent basically every pandemic weekend watching murder shows, or cult shows, or baking shows. Sometimes all three. My all-time favorite, however, is the female-fronted British crime show. Your “Scott & Bailey.” Your “Vera.” Your “Unforgotten.” I am, of course, always looking for more murder shows to fill the endless void of existence/weekend. So, what’s been your favorite pandemic murder show?

Same here except watch sport instead of baking:) Just watch Scottish series The Victim and from Britain A Confession. Not new but both very good.
Going back a bit, but you might try An Unsuitable Job for a Woman, and Silent Witness? Both great British dramas.
We are currently operating a murder show in Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq, oh and Africa, also aiding one in Gaza, and china. Among many others.
Who needs Netflix?
I'm quite fond of Murdoch Mysteries (a bit gentleman-heavy because the main character is a police detective circa 1900, but the pathologists are always ladies). For shows with gals driving the action, there's The Bletchley Circle, My Life is Murder (Lucy Lawless!), Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Queens of Mystery (only one season so far), and MacDonald and Dodds. Also enjoyed by my wife and me: Shetland, Lewis, Father Brown (Lady Felicia leaves after a while but always comes back for at least one episode per season), The Doctor Blake Mysteries, and The Brokenwood Mysteries.
