Really? Because after RS tweeted her support for equality, things pretty much calmed down.
Have a wonderful time and sing your heart out DS
I was at this gig! SO INCREDIBLE.
ENJOY!!
Wow, "Amazing Grace" ... somehow, I suddenly wanted to see Brandi Carlisle and Heather Peace playing a gig together and singing "Hallelujah" ... now that would, indeed, be amazing grace.
Well, Anonymous @ 6:11 PM, I for one hope it's not all swept under the rug because of a c.y.a. twitter message. The LGBT community did not break down societal and legal barriers because we settled for any crumbs we could get. I expect journalism from DS, not sh*t stirring.
Anon @ 8:24, that would be lovely but just lately we seem to be getting the shit stirring instead of the journalism. I do hope I'm wrong this time.

The only "shit stirring" I've seen regarding RS has taken place in forums, chat rooms, and fan pages. The people who have access to the media -- who could have made a significant difference when it all exploded -- kept their heads in the sand. Did the producers hear about it? Yes, they did. But not because anyone associated with AE made it public. Lastly, I take issue with anyone describing our response to what RS did in the NWN interview as "shit stirring." If RS had half a brain she would have thought first and opened her mouth second. No one else on LG has ever used a LG interview to promote a religious leader and her/his work on a religion-based project. Her tweet was sent only after someone kicked her ass to do something before Fan Expo happened.
Fast forward to today's NFL playoff game. She did a fantastic job singing the national anthem (in a gale-force wind).
