I can’t think of a better way to honor Independence Day than with a little Ani DiFranco and girls kissing. In fact, I feel like it’s our constitutional duty to celebrate the Fourth of July in this fashion. What did our Founding Fathers fight for anyway if not right for us to have a three-day weekend and use those three days to make videos of hot women kissing. At least, I think that’s what I remember learning in my high school history class. Maybe my textbook was different from yours. Anyway, I clearly used my time wisely this weekend and spent it making this. Please be gentle, it is my first (and possibly last) music video compilation. (Also watch it in HD, it’s prettier that way.) No one else had Ani’s “Independence Day” set to anything. So, you know, I kind of had to. Happy birthday, America. And, you know, happy Monday everyone else.

Nicely done!!! I always thought that song was really depressing. Your video gives me another way to think about it.
Also, I clearly need to watch Imagine Me and You again...
I like what your high school history book taught you.
Loved the tone of the video and how you fit the clips together. Also, thanks for making me Wikipedia what movie Lena Headey and Piper Perabo were in together, because I like both of them but I'd never heard of Imagine You & Me. I hope it's good, because just reading the Wikipedia summary made me smile. :)
Good Job D.
Keep up the videos. Don't stop now.
Thank you! it is beautiful
Great way to kick off today!
Thank you, it is beautifully done.
how very patriotic of you
my word, Snarker. you're so multi-talented. i really loved your music vid! do more!
Very nice. I prefer music videos about lesbians to have soundtracks by women...like this one! Seriously, I can't really understand why some female folks persist in making music videos with clips of lesbian movies, etc. and then have a GUY singing. I know the argument that it's all about the lyrics. And trust me, I'm a HUGE fan of great lyrics no matter who writes or sings them. I just can't get my mind off the idea that when a guy is singing that he's watching the women and then it becomes another paean to the male gaze. Blech! Kudo's to you Ms. Snarker for putting together a lovely music video montage of ladies loving ladies!
i guess the point is they remember the
day, cus something good things personally
they had, hum, i like that view point, felt little slow,
i mean the tempo. thanks for the movie.
i'm not familiar all the actors though.
Yeah.
BEAUTIFUL SIGH <333333
Brilliant! I hope this in NOT your last music video...
Well done! Love the inclusion of "When Night Is Falling" and "Mistresses." Two of my favorites. If I recall correctly, you just recently started making video clips/montages. You're doing a wonderful job. Can't wait to see more.
Seriously, Dorothy, you're good at this!
Yes! I was hoping for some Rachel and Luce when I read the post, and you delivered. I've watched that movie an embarrassing number of times, made funnier by the fact that I saw it for the first time only three months ago. Thanks for a reason to watch it again!
Beeeewtifuuul xoxo
Glad to see the British represent! A tad ironic given that you made it in honour of the day all Americans celebrate being independent from us... x
Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
Loved it :o) thank you.
THANK YOU FOR USING WHEN NIGHT IS FALLING <3
I wish I had your mad video skillz.
That was beautiful. Thank you Snarker.
