So now the only question is who does the best creationism-teaching, Roe v. Wade-abolishing, crony-hiring, Bush Doctrine-unknowing and (still) Bridge to Nowhere-lying governor of Alaska: Tina or Gina?
Tina Fey as Sarah Palin
Gina Gershon as Sarah Palin
While it's hard to beat a bikini, you know whose clip I prefer. (Last name rhymes with gay...ahem.) My favorite line? “I can see Russia from my house!”
And with that, I think it's time to stop talking about she who should not be vice president. She is a distraction, and a dangerous distraction at that. Also, in real life, she is actually not all that funny. Nope, not funny at all.

I am in love with Gina Gershon so she gets my vote!
Please, I was so excited about it that on sunday morning (ET.. as in European time :P) after a sleepless party night I had to look out for the clip! I watched on a loop at least four times... LMAO each and every time!(btw...thanks nbc.com :D)
My fav quote: "In conclusion, I invite the media to grow a pair. And if you can't, I will lend you mine."
I knew you wouldn't leave that unnoticed ...
Vote Tina, don't vote Palin!
Thanks for the answer Ms. S, very much obliged :D
Fey NAILED it. Genius. Pure genius.
I vote for Gina...sorry dorothy...my only issue is that Gina doesn't actually know how to shoot a gun...which I guess is kinda a good thing...
Yeah, I can see Russia from my house is a funny one. And also wearing "tina Fey's' glasses. Hahaha.
Who can leave the Fey as Palin skit alone? It's comedy gold, spun by a woman who has a razor sharp wit and willing to wield it quicker than Sweeney Todd.
I think they both have it down. And, we need more people doing these! Get the word out to those people who are STILL unsure. Holy shit. How can anyone be unsure???
FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS VOTE REPUBLICAN.
"Sarah Palin, if she shoots you in the face it's because she was aiming for it." LMAO that was hysterical. Of course the SNL skit was spot on and still my favorite.
Tina Fey for President in '09 Ladies, who's with me?
xxx
Cheers Dorothy,
although Corky's, sorry Gina's torso could win its own election....hells yeah!
Oh Dorothy...I knew you'd be all over the genius SNL/Fey/Poehler skit like white on rice! sigh... nice to know there are somethings I can count on in this world!
Palin: "You know, Hillary and I don't agree on *everything*."
Clinton: "Anything."
So flippin funny! I love Tina.
Love. Her.
I have to go with Tina because she teamed up with Amy Poehler and because of the writing.
BUT I think if Tina and Amy wrote for Gina...she would be kick-ass!
In fact, I would love to see Tina and Amy write a Sarah-Palin-off for SNL where there is a "competition" between Tina, Gina, Megan Mullally, Paula Abdul, and anyone else mentioned in regards to Sarah Palin looking like them.
It would be great and then maybe the country can get this out of its system so then we can get over this media darling and move on to the debates.
David Bender made a great comment about the SNL sketch on his radio show on Sunday, which I thought you'd apreciate, Dorothy. He said "Tina Fey might just save American Democracy". I couldn't agree more..
I missed the episode of SNL but I knew you would not dissappoint.
I vote Tina. I almost pissed myself laughing.
I have to vote for both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Tears came to my tears watching this. Don't get wrong, Gina was funny. Yet it's hard to top Fey and Poehler playing Palin and Clinton. I thought SNL had tricked Palin into coming on the show. Great opening and THANK you for posting it.
Good lord, don't make me decide between the lovely Gina and the Fiesty Tina.
It's a TIE!
I'm not even American/in America, and even if I was, I wouldn't be able to vote. However, I'm pretty aware of American politics, and the Sarah Palin controversy. I found this site, with some dirties on Palin. http://www.grizzlybay.org/SarahPalinInfoPage.htm
Another great post, thankyou from England. ;)
tina fey :what a mistake and gift for palin....
unbelievable but maybe she wants an emmy award...
