Yes, OK, I love Swedish dance-pop princesses, and I’m not ashamed to admit it. I hadn’t paid much mind to Zara Larsson until Alysa Liu skated to her song with PinkPantheress “Stateside” during the Olympic figure skating exhibition gala earlier this year. But since then, I’ve been further charmed by her fun shows, her real singing, and just her general good vibes. “Midnight Sun” is definitely my song of the summer.
