Take Your Broken Heart, Make It Into Art

What Meryl said. All of it. Every last word. Never forget the kind of man who this country (well, who unevenly weighted geographical regions designed historically to help slave holders) voted for. A bully. But the only way to beat a bully is to stand up to him. And in doing so we must never forgetting our own empathy for others – particularly those who are weaker or poorer or less privileged than we are. Also, from here on out roasting Donald Trump shall be called Meryl Streeping. I mean, really, was there ever any question that a three-time Oscar winner would beat a reality TV host? Please. No contest.

Here's a synchromystic Meryl Streep moment "Michael Chamberlain, whose nine-week-old daughter Azaria was snatched by a dingo in Uluru in 1980, has died aged 72."

Meryl played Michael's wife in the movie 'A Cry in the Dark' in 1988.
The dingo is considered a trickster figure in Australian indigenous culture, much like the coyote in Native American culture.

I find these Hollywood award shows a complete bore. Wealthy, privileged people fawning over each other. I respect their talent on the Big Screen but dont need to watch them salute each other at an award show.

@Karen Well, that's why there's a remote and an off switch. Don't want it if you don't want to. It's just like people complaining about gay marriage - don't get gay married if you don't want to. But just because you aren't interested, doesn't mean others are not, and it is a good thing that you don't get to decide for other people.

Trump has nothing to show so far, minus his dishonorable behavior....nothing sucks more than watching him stride into office as if he's entitled. Not Privileged.
