I was going to write about "Glee" today. And I still plan to, oh yes, I still plan to. Because that, that was uncalled for. But instead I felt like writing about something nice today. And, clearly, it has been a long day. But today we celebrate the real expression of "love is love." And that is the first same-sex couples in Washington state to receive their marriage licenses. Aren't they lovely. Isn't it just all so lovely. Also, don't these two look like Betty DeGeneres' long-lost sisters? Next comes the Supreme Court. I'm equal parts excited and nervous about them hearing the Prop. 8 and DOMA cases. May liberty believe in the blind power of love. Happy weekend, all.

Glad to see your Weekend Crush! I was beginning to think maybe "that show" had lead to a "lesbian blogger" strike...
That is adorable
Also: die DOMA, die
Bravo Snarks! Bravo! What a lovely post.
"Don't these two look like Betty DeGeneres' long-lost sisters?"
Good God, YES! :D
PD
PS Still looking forward to the salvo! ;)
PPS Darling, can't you do something about this blasted captcha thing? Absolute bloody murder on a 14 (or thereabouts) gin hangover...
Gay marriage = register with the state as a homosexual. In ten years fascists could take over and use this information to track homosexuals down and put them in concentration camps or worse. Also, many states make marriage licenses available for anyone to view online. People don't realize they're putting themselves in danger. Yes I'm paranoid, but religious extremists are out-breeding everyone, it's only a matter of time before their numbers are so great they completely take over. Majority rules, right?
they are so sweet and make me misty. thankfully it passed in time for them how long have we made couples wait?! how long must the rest of the people in other states wait?
Love always wins.

Well, I was confused as to why Betty Degeneres was all snuggly with some other silvery lady. Oh! Not Betty!
Marriage Equality seems to be having a surge in the states and I'm hopeful that it'll take hold very soon.
