Bitching

If we’d just listened when Tina Fey told us that “Bitches Get Stuff Done,” none of this would be happening right now. None of this picking fights with the Statue of Liberty or wholesale degradation of our democracy. Alas, eight years later and we’re still all, “Ew, a woman president?” *endless sigh that bounces back through the infinite void*

Again, Hillary didn't lose because she was a woman. This election was about voters wanting a shakeup in Washington. Tired of partisan politics and stagnation they opted for an outsider hoping he could induce change in the Beltway. Clinton is as far from an outsider as they come. Now that the results are in Trump is finding out what we already know: its impossible to get anything done because the system is a mess. The embarrassing chaos aside, the bottom line is we need a massive shake up of our political system. Trump will be gone in 4 years I'm pretty sure. Perhaps ousted by a woman.

A lot of those bitches voted for Trump unfortunately. Something like 53% of white women had his back, which is disproportionate to the number of women of color who didn't vote for him(94% black, 69% latina, 61% other). Seems like we all need to get on the same page or bitches WON"T get anything done.

Your logic makes no sense. The person who would be able to make the most change in Washington is the one with experience in Washington, who already has allies and connections, and who knows how the system works. As Trump has perfectly illustrated, a person with no political experience will just stumble dick-first into problem after problem. Being a CEO is not good experience for political office, because ruling by fiat is not how Washington works (and fortunately so). I wouldn't want someone with no experience operating on my brain, so why would a person with no experience make a good president?

Furthermore, a "shake up" in Washington is exactly what you are getting with Trump. Traditional standards and protocols are being tossed out the window, and the result is a dangerous destabilization of not only the US, but of its international relationships. The inefficiency of Washington is a feature, not a flaw. Checks and balances are what keep us from going off the deep end.
