Do you know who will never stop being delightful? Kate Winslet. I mean she’s almost so delightful it’s obnoxious. Like, “Ugh, delightful again?” But each time she speaks she has this lovely kind of nonchalant British charm that is just, for lack of a better word, delightful. Last month she was delighting us with her totally nonchalant acceptance of her son’s sexuality – whatever that may turn out to be. And before that she delighted us with her superhero exploits saving Richard Branson’s grandmum from a resort fire. But what really makes someone just over-the-top delightful is when she can be self-deprecating about just how delightful she really is. Like in her retelling her heroic feats during said fire. See for yourself.I know. Ugh, so fucking delightful.

ReplyDeleteKate, Kate ,Kate. My favorite Kate performance was her playing herself in Ricky Gervais' show Extras. She had been nominated for the Oscar several times w/o winning by then. Her meta character does a rant about what she would have to do to win an Oscar-->including starring in a movie about the Holocaust. Hilarious!!

i was so annoying,
i found something fun stuff online about
3 or 4 pm, and finished the project,
and thought that i'm gonna win on that,
but they only accept application from people
who sign up to their service. totally annoying now.
it was creating lyrics contest.
i think i'm genius.(it is joke people, joke!)
but, in this case, well~
i'm just happy to finish that.
and learned that i can do this, too.
(wasn't english)
realized that, like design and other work,
music is team biz, you know,
someone create the sound, then,
someone sing the dummy song without
the lyrics, then someone hear that
and write the song based on the
abstract clues, finally,
singer sings that song and record.
the reason why this is kind of fun experience,
when you hear the dummy song,
it's like dummy text in design.
like what is this? kind of very abstract.
and figure out that and details, was kind of
exciting try. just for fun. and i'm done.
never do that again.
yesterday my focus was gathering fishing coins.
and i finally level up so another lake opened.
