Wonder girl

Yesterday I gave you arm porn. Today, well, it’s not exactly porn porn, but – you know – close enough. Christina Hendricks showed the girls off again at the premiere for “I Don’t Know How She Does It.” I know it’s probably crass to keep talking about the obvious, but they’re just so … obvious. Though, in an attempt to change the subject, I really like this dress on her. Sometimes Christina wears fashion on the red carpet that struggles to compete with her most abundant assets (dammit, I’m back to talking about them again). But this dress just complements her figure in a lovely soft, creamy, my-God-I-want-to-touch-her-skin way.

Christina spoke with Vulture about “I Don’t Know How She Does It” as well as her other upcoming projects – “Drive” with Ryan Gosling and “Struck by Lightning” written by none other than Kurt Hummel himself, Chris Colfer. Though one tidbit that interested me in particular was how “Drive” director Nicolas Winding Refn really wanted Christina to play Wonder Woman. And she said she’d do it “in a heartbeat.”Right, not to get stuck on the same subject again, but sweet merciful Zeus, could you imagine the industrial-strength corseting that would be required to keep those wonder girls in the Wonder bustier? The mind boggles.

The other interesting tidbit from the interview was that Christina is going to bring a 19-year-old with the Make-A-Wish Foundation as her co-date to the Emmys (she’ll also be taking her husband). Well wished for, young man, very well wished for.

    I totally love christina.
She still struggles with dressing the girls as I feel this dress simply doesn't fit. Looks painful!
She should take some tips from Mrs Joan Harrison (or Janie Bryant) and dress those girls in clothes that fit. She would be a total vavoom!

I know everyone loves Christina (as do I), but these pictures make me feel... awkward, at best. Lord knows I love me some good cleavage shots, but these are just too much. Her breasts look almost grotesque in this dress. If she had been a bit less endowed (heaven forbid), then this dress would have been stunning. But right now? It just looks painful and more than a little vulgar.

For once I will have to disagree with you Dorothy.
Her breast, as Anon said, is just too much, that's not classy at all in my opinion, nor is it attractive.
She just shoves them in our faces and that's also all she talks about then complains that's what everyone asks her about in interviews.
Sorry she annoys me. But god knows I love the character Joan she plays on Mad Men.

  4. Good Lord, they are something else! I totally agree with Dorothy, how could you ever manage to talk about anything else when confronted with those puppies? Good Lord...

Sometimes leaving a little to the imagination has its merits. Christina is a beautiful woman, but the girls are a little overwhelming.

  6. Waaaay too much on show there. The dress just looks too small. Her boobs have been pushed up to the extend that they look all blue and veiny (is that a word?). Not a pretty sight. Bit slutty. Bit too Dolly for my liking. Less is more in this case.

  7. i love christina too! but i have to agree with everyone else, wayyyy too much cleavage. as a formerly big chested girl, less is def way more when it comes to dressing the girls. i do get that most of the time is so frustrating to try to buy a dress when you have a big chest. sometimes you just say 'eff it', and wear that dress that makes you look slutty, but you will ALWAYS regret it. take it from ones who knows.... bad choice, christina...

  10. Love the colour on her, it's very flattering - but yes - I agree with everyone else - her breasts are quite wonderful, but "boobs on a plate" are not.

I wish she'd learn how to dress them, although I understand it must be hard. :/

  11. Sigh, I can't criticize this woman for showing off...those wonderful things. Usually I like smaller breasts on a woman (I guess it's all about the difference, mine are enormous), but C. Hendricks is an exception. I also cannot stop staring at her beautiful face, and that color looks phenomenal on her. Um... I can't even remember what my point was. She absolutely makes me swoon.

I understand the spirit with which this was written, but god I am so tired of people only being able to talk about this poor woman's breasts. That's almost all anyone says about her. As someone with larger sized breasts, it's really uncomfortable and makes you feel bad as a person when that's all people have to say about you (I've read several things about her boobs recently - I'm definitely not trying to harp on Ms. Snarker here...I love this blog!!). I think her face is absolutely stunning...and that beautiful hair! Thanks for pointing out her lovely skin, though :)

Yup agree with most on here - not appealing, they just look sore!

Do they really need to be 'out there'? She's becoming a bit of a parody.

Tsk she's making me a bad lesbian :-(
