Please, like I wasn’t going to post the original this week just to bookend the holiday experience. The melancholy majesty of Judy Garland’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” remains unmatched. She may have sung it 80 years ago in “Meet Me in St. Louis,” but her voice continues to ring through the ages. I hope your heart has been light this week, and well beyond. Happy weekend, all.
I love this movie so much! Tootie and Agnes are such little hellions! I need to rewatch to confirm my understanding that 17 year old Esther, who isn’t even in her last year of high school gets engaged to the neighbour man after knowing him for three months. 🥴 oh sheesh!
