Only One Side

This is terrible to watch. But this is also America today. And this is the same group the current President of the United States insists includes “very fine people.” No. No very fine people. Bigoted people. Hateful people. Evil people. No one should be surprised that Donald Trump is an unabashed racist – we knew that before. Fuck, some of us (cough, Hillary, cough) even tried to warn us. But we should be stunned at the moral precipice we find our country. From the first black president to this monstrous excuse for a man. There are no “many sides” when it comes to white supremacists who murder people. There is no moral equivalence between Nazis and people who protest Nazis. There is no blame to be cast on Heather Heyer or any of the others who stood up against wannabe fascists and KKK members shouting “Jews will not replace us!” and “Fuck you faggots!” And anyone who does not call it out now, anyone who looks at a crowd of torch-bearing racists and see “very fine people,” is a stain on humanity, let alone the presidency. So, yeah, watch this. Bear terrible witness to what is happening in our country and acknowledge our deeply ingrained institutional racism. And then promise to vote against Trump and all his enablers forever.

  2. This evil, corrupt president needs to be impeached immediately. Any member of Congress who refuses to act is a coward and we need to vote them out of office at the very next election.

How is your conscience today, people that wrote in Bernie or voted for Jill Stein ?

  4. Come on, the people who voted for Bernie or Jill Stein weren't voting for Trump. It's the Trump voters you should accuse of the crime of voting for Trump. And yes, it's fair to call it a crime. Considering the likely consequences, that anyone who bothered to check out the candidate could find out.

  5. Outrageous. It would be a start if public pressure could get Trump banned from Twitter. His violations of their 'Terms Of Service' could not possibly be any more blatant. His rhetoric advocating war crimes, crimes against humanity, torture and worse are overt and reveal the kind of cruel horrid creature he is. Every hate group listed by the SPLC is being emboldened by his words, his executive orders, and his horrendous political appointments who are busy trying to eliminate civil rights and civil liberties every chance they get. Trump IS a white supremacist and THE head bigot - he must be stopped. I hope Trump gets arrested, convicted, impeached, and exiled to deep space.

The people who voted for Bernie and Jill Stein, did vote for Trump. In terms of presidential elections Trump won some key states by slim margins.

I am and was a Jill Stein supporter. I'm sorry but I refused to vote for crooked Hillary. Destroying emails and devices? We will never know what she was hiding.

Anyone who voted for Trump or did not vote for the only person who could stop this madness caused this mess - and is culpable. Never know what Hillary was hiding? I call BS on that. Nobody has show that she was hiding anything all that important (and they sure tried to) and if somehow she had been, everything about Trump is a billion, no a quadrillion times worse. So let's just allow this horror to destroy our country? You fell for the same propaganda the right did. If you did not vote for Clinton, Trump is partly on you. Own it.
