Vacation Vixens: Naya & Jumpsuit

I can't stop staring at those two, shiny, bouncing, glorious…cellos. Yeah, cellos. Definitely not the contents of that skin-tight black peekaboo jumpsuit. Just cellos. Or something.

I was so excited to see that Naya had finally made a music video/first single/more exposure than just Glee. I also love that she's covering a Muse song. Not what I would've expected. Also, those two ...ahem... cellos were exciting. But the more I watch the video, the more sad I am than anything. She's proven time and again on Glee (Hurt Locker, anyone?) that she's better than this. I don't know if it's the poor production values or the fact that she looks so obviously uncomfortable (like seriously, is the director just yelling at her "Be sexy! No, not like that, SEXY!"), but I just kinda want to see her in normal clothes hanging out with the glee club after this.

  2. I think it's a shame that Naya - being such a talented artist - use only her sex appeal and not her wonderful voice in that number.

I think she could do a lot more, but until then, I will appreciate what she's offering. No complaints there!!

I really and truly only liked the cellos. I didn't like her outfit makeup or the song

Lighten up people. This is not Naya's first single. This is a song cover by 2 Cellos. She is just the featured singer on it.

    What cellos?

  8. The name of the band is called 2 Cellos. They are two guys who play popular songs on their cellos.

  9. I liked the cover of Muse but definitely agree that she was forced into some weird director's idea of sexy rather than her own natural sexiness. The little half smirk during the close up turned me on WAY more than the epileptic writhing. The director clearly had no idea of the talent they were working with. Such a shame...
