BAMF FLOTUS

Let me just get this out there immediately, our FLOTUS is a BAMF. Yeah, I said it. Our First Lady of the United States is a Bad Ass Mutha F-(word I cannot say because this is the presidency of the United States of America we are talking about, not some juvenile detention hall cafeteria). Still there’s no ifs, ands or butts about it. What I like about her isn’t just that she has been a gracious and vivacious First Lady, which she certainly has. It is that she seems to have a great sense of humor about all of it. Both about herself and about the situation. The way she gently ribs her husband, the President, is pretty damn endearing. And the way she has presented herself in the public eye is pretty damn impressive. Also, have I mentioned she’s a BAMF? Yeah. I’ve particularly enjoyed the “Show, Don’t Tell” approach she has taken to her Let’s Move Initiative to end childhood obesity. Watching the First Lady run, jump, dance, hula hoop and even potato sack race has truly been a pleasure. Thank you, Mrs. Obama. A grateful nation salutes your stellar athleticism. Also, damn, those arms. Happy Presidents’ Day, indeed.

Michelle v. Jimmy

Can you see Barbara Bush doing this, let alone being able to do this?

Michelle v. Ellen

I don’t think Ellen let her win. I think she flat-out beat her.

Michelle v. The Dougie

Fuck yeah, our First Lady can Dougie.

  1. I'll be honest, my affection for the POTUS waxes and wanes. A lot of good has been done under his administration, it's true, but a lot has fallen to the wayside, too. I understand he may be holding out for that second term, but... Anyway.

I find my feelings for the FLOTUS are directly connected to my feelings for the POTUS (hence why I adore both of the Clintons). However, in light of these videos, particularly the push-up contest, I think the FLOTUS might have pushed rather solidly ahead of her husband...

I can see you mean well but this is the wife of a puppet who has enabled many of our liberties to be removed and will continue to do so unless Ron Paul is elected. I know this site is for entertainment but I wish so strongly that you were better informed as I wish the other commenters were better informed because Clinton was the worst for allowing NAFTA to come in and the all the many other wrongs. PLEASE WAKE UP! If we lose our basic liberties as humans just think what will happen to us as gay people!

  3. Wouldn't it be simply AMAZING, just to see her getting down, dancin', and having a good time at a wedding? Especially at a same sex wedding?!

To Anonymous, perhaps you should be better informed. Your post is ridiculously off topic. It is also offensive. Some of us see things differently than you. That does not make us less informed ... it just makes us smarter. :-)

If you're IQ is above 142 then you are smarter. My post is not off topic it is very topical and you do remain uninformed.

I love our FLOTUS and I will be voting for Barack Obama and if Michelle ever decides to run I will be voting for her too.

I will not be voting for Ron Paul because he is not pro-choice and has called himself an "unshakable foe of abortion". As an adamant proponent of a women's right to choose I cannot support Ron Paul.

Also because he believes global warming is a hoax and supports private property rights in relation to environmental protection and pollution prevention which really hasn't turned out very well for the last two hundred years or so.

Also, Dorothy Snarker I love you. :)

  6. It saddens me to see so many people who will only judge a woman on the strengths of her husband.

Michelle Obama is an amazing lady. that video with Ellen made my day :)

  8. FLOTUS Obama and Secretary Clinton are both women who make me proud to be American, proud to have them representing the United States, proud that little girls have them to look up to. They both make hard work, intelligence and independence look downright sexy - and they can do it all while raising strong, smart, independent daughters.

  9. Ron Paul condoned the printing of anti-Semitic, anti-Black and anti-gay comments. Hell, he endorsed those articles. But he says as he runs away from those comments that it was a long time ago.

  10. Michelle Obama is gorgeous and very much in shape if she can do that many push ups. Yeow. I'm jealous. I have never had upper body strength. But my legs are lethal weapons if I want them to be. :D

On the Ron Paul thing? I see a lot of contradictions in his positions as a libertarian. I see Ron Paul (and for that matter, Santorum) as fascists on women's issues, lesbian issues, Jewish issues, etc. All of which defy the libertarian stupid ex-Russian Ayn Rand stupid agendas. I could go on but . . .

Also, I have never stopped campaigning for our current POTUS.

Thanks Dorothy for posting the Dougie. I got a big kick out of that. :)

  11. I just don't get it, I don't. Many American cultural peculiarities I may not agree with but I can understand, but the whole venerating the wife of some guy that less than half of you voted for, just because she's married to him? Unfathomable. Like, most people couldn't care less who the Prime Minister's wife/partner is or what she does. Rightly, because she/he is irrelevant in that regard. It's like she's an unelected public official who has duties of state foisted upon her like some secondary royal.
I suppose it's more akin to Kate Middleton than Samantha Cameron, you do all seem to revere your presidents in the way that our old people revere the monarchy.
Okay, I get it now, I think. As you were.

  12. Ha, remember when the ReThuglicans tried to paint her as "The Angry Black Woman"? FAIL. The woman rocks.

If Ron Paul is the answer then the question is one of those stupid ones your elementary teachers tried it insist there was on such thing as.
