Vacation Vixen: Nancy McKeon

If you didn’t crush on Jo at some point in your childhood then I question your sexuality.

  3. This is just weird, 'cause over the weekend I was wishing that Jo Polniaczek was a real person.

  6. See, I never forgave 'Jo' for sweeping in and removing my huge crush, Cindy. Ah Julie Ann Haddock, you were robbed.

What if we're too young to know Facts of Life at all? :)

And what if we were too old to be crushing on those kids? Dorothy, no need to be hating on the Oldes. We may be olde, but we aren't dead.

  9. I think Nancy McKeon (as Jo) is the reason I'm gay. It's either that or Kristy MacNicol in Little Darlings. Or Jennifer Beals in Flashdance. Or maybe Linda Carter as Wonder Woman.

Okay, now I know how everyone in my family figured out I was gay about a decade before I did.

  10. Eh. Question if you must, but that's one I don't really agree with you on.

  11. I used to watch The Facts of Life reruns on Nick at Night! I thought Jo was the coolest thing since Sliced bread and wanted to be just like her. She might be the reason I like women.

You should have posted up the picture of when she was in The Division.

  13. I did crush on her, but more in the "I want to be her" way, not in the "I want to be WITH her way.".
Jo was the tough, cool and smart cookie that I so wanted to be, but could never quite pull off. ::sigh::

My first lady crush. My mom let me write a fan letter to her when I was in 3rd grade. I ended up with an autographed photo of the whole cast. I would kiss that picture at night. Even at that age I just knew Jo was in love with Blair!

Ohhhh... Jo!!! What wonderful, tummy-jolt memories I have of her! When I was thirteen, the kids at school would tease me because they thought I was gay, but I didn't realize it was true until one Spring day when I saw Jo give Blair a deliciously suggestive smile on 'The Facts of Life'... WHAMM-O!!! Hello, libido! ;p

Part of me still weeps over Nancy winding up married with kids. If only she'd gotten together with Lisa like so many of us desperately wanted to see!

  16. Nancy McKeon was playing the mom Demi Lovato on Sonny with a Chance, I felt old when I saw her.

  19. Yeah . THE FIRST. When people talk about their Shaun Cassidy crush, my mind goes to Jo immediately. Wish I had known y'all during all those moments I felt so different. Sure glad I "know" you now! :)

The most beautiful woman on this earth. She was gorgeous then.. and she's gorgeous now.. "Her husband is a lucky man" is a complete and total understatement. What I wouldn't give to be in his place... *sigh*
