Ah, Ilene did her wrong, but I guess it's testament to how great an actress she is...I don't know that anyone else could have pulled off that character so well. (And what a decadent picture to carry over to the new year...)

Love or hate the character of Jenny... Dorothy didn't choose Jenny, but Mia Kirshner for her "Vacation Vixen" and Mia isn't Jenny, so that right there makes her okay on my list.
I spent the better part of last week hunting down episodes of the Vampire Diaries, just so I wouldn't be lost when she shows up... Better than I expected and a tad more like Twilight should have been (IMHO)...
I loved Season 1 Jenny, hated her in the later seasons. But all along, I had a crush on Mia Kirshner. She's so gorgeous, a good actress, and a good person, too.
Dorothy, of course you love the bad girl even if she and especially the woman who created this one drive you crazy. Happy New year and thanks for your blog it's always fun and often inspiring as well! I count you as one of my blessings.
I'm watching the fifth season of TLW and i can't hate her more. :S

Ewwww....
ReplyDeleteGreat actress but hateful character. The worst TV of the year was Shenny. WTF, Ilene!
Can't say I'm loving end year with this image in my head.
But to each her own. Happy New Year!
oh Jenny, Jenny, Jenny...
ReplyDeletein other news, anyone catch the new George Clooney movie Up In The Air? Vera Farmiga looked perfectly delectable. Definitely worth a Google.
Sure, she was canoodling with Georgie Boy the whole time, but a girl can dream...

Blasphemy! I only caught the last season of the L Word, but it was long enough for me to hate Jenny! She's the devil.

ReplyDeleteNo two ways about it....Jenny was always my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI loved her on 24, she was an amazing villain! (and one of the only ones that Jack never caught)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'll admit that I liked Jenny most of the time. Let's face it, the L Word would have been a bit more boring without Jenny ;)

ReplyDeleteYet again proving my theory that no one can put into words why this character was worth any time, much less multiple seasons and a central role.
ReplyDeleteOh wow... I -do- miss Jenny! Unbelievable.. guess it's true you don't know what you got till it's gone, huh?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I agree Mia Kirshner is the reason for any and all missing-ness
Yes, don't miss Jenny and the screwy things IC did to her character.
ReplyDeleteBut Mia was a genius in how she handled it. She is lovely, sexy and talented actress.
I loved hating Jenny. What an excellent actress. In fact they were all good.
ReplyDeleteShe did that role justice.
Brava Mia!!
I miss Jenny SO much. Love her / hate her, but I need her insanity in my life. And Mia is so beautiful, I love her hair and Jenny's looks in the show.
