So just to test my “There is no such thing as too much Jodie Foster”-theory (which is a variation on my “There is no such thing as too much Tina Fey”-theory, which is soon to be available in novel form), here are some fun screencaps from the trailer. I am sooo marking my (mental) calendar right now for this :)
ReplyDeleteThis makes my morning a happy place.
ReplyDeleteJust for a quick swoon-check...could you imagine a Foster/Fey double-feature?
"It puts the loafers in the basket"...brilliant! The movie looks good too.
ReplyDeleteLooks so funny! Can't wait to see Jodie in this film, not to mention this hilarious role.
ReplyDeleteJodie, tank top, pouring rain : already loving it.
ReplyDeleteLucky you guys, you'll only have to wait til April. We poor Europeans don't even have a release date yet...
What a wonderful Christmas present to the world!
ReplyDeleteThere could never be too much Jodie Foster. I hope it's a huge hit. Maybe we can get her into a smartly written comedy for adults...maybe Tina Fey will write it...and co-star - great idea Slacker!
ReplyDelete-some girl from San Diego
oh, jodie.
ReplyDeleteoh, ms. snarker.
what a lovely day :)
That trailer gave me butterflies in my tummy!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love you too Ms. Snarker...*sighs*
I had already decided 'the Brave One' is the best thing Jodie has done. Then this! WOW! LOL!! It's like watching Freaky Friday again, but now I know WHY I can't keep my eyes off of Jodie!! Can't wait for April. Thank you Ms. Snarker- U R the BEST!
ReplyDeleteWhere do I sign up! Ah damn, it's not one of those sign up things huh? Silly me. But now I can't wait - is it time yet? How bout now? No? Damn, Spring seems to darn far away *sob*. My DVD collection is about to grow by one.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ms. S. - absolutley lovely. And for the record, there can N-E-V-E-R be too much Jodie or Tina Fey and if those two ever ever ever play roles in the same movie, someones gonna have to cuff me to keep me from jumping out of my own skin. And if Tina Fey does the writing, forget the cuffs, they won't be able to hold me!
Good God, can it get any better? The trailer looks great and Jodie, well, when DOESN'T she look simply luscious! Ok, let's all "om" together now and get April here fast. This is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteit's like watching Disney movies when I was a kid. Now she is just a big kid, yeah
ReplyDeleteI want to see it NOW!
ReplyDeleteJodie imitating Gerard Butler's accent....Scottish Jodie...hmmm
ReplyDeleteIt's like Homer Simpson finding out that donut flavoured beer really does exist.
Ms. Foster does comedy, and you know what, me likey. In fact, I think she even excels at it. Now all I hope is that the trailer did not give us all the good parts and that the rest of the movie is a bunch of grobble.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the trailer. Now all us pesky Europeans over in zone 2 have to do is wait until it comes to theatres sometime in the fall of 2008, or *gasp* even worse, until the DVD is out.
