Bright idea

How many lesbians does it take to screw in a light bulb? Amazingly, just one. So, seriously, what are you waiting for?

  1. hey, i have quite a few of those bulbs! now i am going to replace the ones in the light fixtures, instead of waiting until they run out :-)

    my favourite light bulb joke:

  3. A fish that rides a bicycle, right?

And BTW, don't both Chloe Sevigny and Kyra Sedgwick also deserve blog labels/credit for that video?

  4. "Unfortunately, the problem with fluorescent lighting is different and more difficult to address. Although generally imperceptible to the human eye, fluorescent lighting has a flicker. It's the flicker itself that's actually a Migraine trigger. Thus, it doesn't matter what kind of fixture houses the tubes. People who are sensitive to that will suffer." from http://headaches.about.com/od/triggers/a/office_lighting.htm or google flourescent light bulbs and migraines and read the comments. As a migraine sufferer I don't need another migraine.

I knew someone who'd suffer migraines and seizures from flourescent bulbs. They're good in the right situation, but not for all.

Plush has a point. They are not compatible with Autism. Supposedly LED bulbs, though behind the curve technologically, are more favorable to the human condition. Kinda like Nuclear Power to Wind Power.

LOL, the part with Chloe Sevigny unscrewing the old bulb was the best.

They have a similar campaign up here in Canada except instead of being persuaded by really hot intelligent women we get the surprisingly buff David Suzuki.
