Hmmm, just noticed "Latifah" has the same number of letters as "lesbian." And "Queen" the same as "queer." Go figure.
now that's gay!
Oh, I don't care. I just love me some Queen. Let her live her life for her. If she can wear some hot outfits for us, I'm satisfied.
...in the middle of uncertainty.I don't get today's post?have a nice day ds,
I love her very much, but seriously now?
You know girls being a lesbian is a state of mind.It means being with a person that you love and want to be with.I think that if she moved in with her trainer it might be that she still needs some schooling in this matter.XOXOXOXO
Wow, do I hate that photograph. Don't get me wrong, I love the Queen but I really viscerally hate this photograph.
She does look sinister in this pic. I'd still hit it though.
HaHaHaLook Latifah is NOT a heterosexual romantic lead even though she tried hard to be in "Just Wright."She should just come out of the closest already, this isn't the 1940s.
I'm not sure Latifah deserves snark from you on this when you give Hargitay the pass and include her as a "straight girl acting like a gay girl" when the preponderance of the evidence over the years is that she's only lately become a gay girl acting like a straight girl.
Responding to the person that doesn't like the photo-- too bad! I love it! I love the symmetry, the glow, the hourglass shape it creates. I especially like that they actually make her look darker! In a world where it seems every black women is retouched to look lighter it is nice to see this gorgeous contrast. Also, I think she looks rather demure and sweet- not threatening or angry at all.Sparks
i love her. if she doesn't want to come out, that's her business. maybe she has family members that wouldn't accept her. it's her life. i hope she's happy :)
Yeah, I'd say she is a member of the club, she just isn't 'out' for whatever reason.I like her. She is very cool.
I think the picture capture a kind of lonely beauty. I think Queen Latifah is terrific. And I'm happy to here that her longtime trainer and she got a fabulous new house. I hope one day to have my own live in trainer. Someone to keep my body in shape through rigorous workouts. Someone to help me with my diet and fixing healthy meals. Maybe pick up my dry cleaning and set my various appointment. Someone to go one vacations with me so I would slack on my workout or diet.It would be nice to have a trainer.congrats Queen!
If she had been out all this time, like it or not, she would not have had the same opportunities that she has had up to this point. It would be wonderful if we could all be out and proud and not have to consider all of those other "there are freaks in this world who hate us" kinds of issues. But, there are, so more power to the Queen for living her life and making it work. And, more power to her for still being with her trainer/partner/whatever. I don't care who you are or what your story is, making relationships last is tough, especially for women of power and influence, I'm sure. And, I think the picture is stunning...really unique and artistically composed. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoy the beauty, and I've never seen anything inherently bad in her politics, so I'm not really worried about what status she does or does not claim.
Hey Sparks, I have no problem with you liking the photo, that's the great thing about having opinions, we're free to express them. My problem with the photo isn't skin color but with her eyes. Queen Latifah has got great eyes and this photo seems to steal all the life out of them.
Nothing but love to all you girls, but just because she's not out publicly doesn't mean that she's not out to people in her life who matter.Just sayin'.
I don't understand. Who thinks she's not out? Did I miss a memo? Are there people alive who think she's straight?I admit perhaps not everyone shares my QL obsession with quite such intensity... but really. Does anyone on the planet actually really foh reals think she's straight?
