Keith Olbermann for President

On this, the celebration of our nation’s independence, I bring you a true American. Speaking truth to power, is there anything more patriotic? Happy Fourth of July, all.

I watched this show last night. (July 3rd) He was so articulate, powerful and courageous. He was heroic.

I love you Dorothy. We are perfectly matched. We agree on everything and everyone that you write about. : )

Thank you, thank you, thank you D.S. for linking this beautiful, passionate, and eloquent example of free speech that every American should convey to their congressional leaders!

I think my next writing will be to my legislators! Hope everyone does the same!

Have you seen that website where you can nominate anybody for president and if enough people vote on the person, their name will be on the ballot in all 50 states in 08?

Dorothy,
Thank you for bringing politics to your entertainment blog. Hopefully the folks suffering from outrage fatigue or apathy will take notice and stand up and write or call their U.S. representatives this week. Or visit their offices, as they are on holiday, and are probably doing campaign fundraising in their districts.

I started watching Olbermann about a year ago, and soon stopped watching most other anchors/tv news (save for Stewart, Colbert, Maher). Keith has surprised and impressed me time and again with his willingness to say what others will not. TV news anchors? There are none so bold or eloquent as Keith.

Tho Mika Brzezinski gets MAD props for refusing to lead her news hour with a Paris Prison story (heh – and for burning/shredding the script on air).

Zbigniew Brzezinski’s daughter...
