Cause and Effect

CLICK for a continuation of the horror, the horrorNot to belabor a point, but I haven’t been able to let go of the Photoshop madness. Consider yesterday the cause and today the effect. Like Icarus flying too close to the sun, if we strive for the impossible we’re bound to fall. And fall hard. Courtney Love and Tara Reid, both empirically attractive women, apparently couldn’t help but see imperfection. So much so that they were willing to nip and tuck, suck and starve themselves into something almost unrecognizable. It’s real-life Photoshopping with grotesque results. Let Susan Powter’s ridiculously ubiquitous mantra be our guide. Ladies, please, “Stop the insanity!”

We obsess so much--I WANT IT TO STOP. When I heard about designer vaginas it was the final straw. Now I don't have to worry about it since my poo has a natural Yves Saint Laurent look--but apparently women are going in for labia tucks, and so on.

Enuff!!!!!!!!!!!

I know for myself the I have body image problems and addiction issues. If I started getting plastic surgery and everyone told me how good I looked I can see where I might take it overboard.
The labia surgery I think comes from that most straight women I know find their vaginas ugly. When calling someone a c*** or p**** is an insult what does it say about the vagina itself.
